As part of the JFK Terminal 7 redevelopment, the First Lounge is now closed until summer 2018. Once completed, customers will be able to relax and unwind in a more welcoming environment before flying. Gold card holders can use the Club Lounge in the interim.

British Airways is investing £52 million to provide an improved experience when travelling through New York JFK Terminal 7; the redesign will be completed at the end of 2018.

A more contemporary environment, wider choice of food and new lounges are just some of the things you can expect, bringing you a more comfortable journey through the airport.

The re-designed contemporary concourse area will feel more spacious with conveniently located check-in desks and extra seating. A new layout will help reduce wait times and speed up the boarding process at check-in, security and the gate areas.

New shopping outlets, a greater choice of food options inspired by New York’s exciting street food scene, extra seating and power banks in the departures area will help you to relax before your flight.

First customers can expect a warm welcome in the First Wing. The exclusive First area will provide a quieter space to check in, as well as direct access to Fast Track Security.

Other changes include updated washrooms, more Duty Free shopping outlets and a brand new customer service desk in Departures for assistance when you need it.
