Under Star Alliance’s innovative partnership concept, Juneyao Airlines has become the first airline to expand the Star Alliance network as a Connecting Partner, offering passengers new transfer options at Shanghai’s two airports; Pudong International and Hongqiao International Airports. Connecting passengers on Juneyao Airlines and all Star Alliance Gold Status passengers will benefit from lounge access, fast track security, additional baggage, priority check-in, boarding, stand-by and baggage delivery. Frequent Flyer members will also be able to earn and spend their miles when travelling with Juneyao Airlines.
Star Alliance member airlines Air Canada, Air China, Air India, Air New Zealand, ANA, Asiana, Austrian, Ethiopian Airlines, EVA Air, Lufthansa, SAS, Shenzhen Airlines, Singapore Airlines, SWISS, THAI, Turkish Airlines and United operate more than 1600 weekly services to Shangahi. Juneyao Airlines will now offer Star Alliance customer’s enhanced onward connectivity to more than 69 destinations in eight countries and regions. The new Star Alliance Connecting Partner Model allows smaller airlines a chance to join the network and provides customers with access to additional travel options.
