Virgin Atlantic has announced its biggest ever season of flying from Manchester Airport, with nearly 40,000 extra seats available to book in summer 2018 as part of an expanded UK flying programme with partner Delta Air Lines.

Flights to both New York JFK and Atlanta from Manchester are being upgraded and will be operated by both the A330 and the largest aircraft in Virgin Atlantic’s fleet, the Boeing 747, which has a huge 455 seats per aircraft.

Virgin and Delta are the only partnership to offer Wi-Fi on every single transatlantic flight and fully flat beds with direct aisle access in every business cabin, plus complimentary food and drink is offered across all cabins on board.

Virgin Atlantic now flies to seven US and Caribbean destinations direct from Manchester including the new routes launched this year to San Francisco, Boston and New York. And, with Delta’s expansive network you can fly onwards to over 200 destinations.

In total, the airline will offer more than 350,000 direct seats between Manchester and the US to Virgin and Delta’s comprehensive networks with a greater choice of destinations and schedule options for travellers across the Atlantic.
