Heathrow’s largest airline British Airways, have confirmed major improvements to enhance the in-flight experience for their customers. This time, they are bringing gourmet dishes from the well-established high-end, Vienna-based caterer DO&Co, who already supply British Airway’s Club Europe and First Cabins.
If you’ve never heard of DO&Co, they are considered by many to be the Rolls Royce of the airport catering world. They are responsible for catering on other airlines, including Austrian Airlines which is renowned for its business class meals.
BA currently uses Gate Gourmet and the phased switch over to the new DO&Co menus is set to take place in October. All outbound services in all classes are expected to be covered by early 2020.
Dishes showcased at the recent launch included shaved Herefordshire roast beef on a tartar cream with rocket, British reared pork sausage and mash, and a celebration of British cheeses.
