LNER have announced this morning that they are unable to operate electric trains on their Edinburgh services, because of overhead line damage covering over six miles of the route near Durham.
Therefore LNER will be operating a reduced timetable today, using diesel trains to operate an hourly service on the Edinburgh-London route.
