Last week we asked our Online Booking Technology Manager Phil Whitney ‘Just how simple to use is our simple to use technology?’  We threw down the challenge (which he readily accepted) of showing us how a complete end to end booking could be tied up in less than 3 minutes.  Confident that he could meet this challenge Phil set the bar even higher, claiming he could confirm an entire trip in just 2 minutes.  This week we are asking him how he got on:

“When I initially set about demonstrating our self-booking technology I was on a mission to meet the 2 minute deadline I had set, and I'm thrilled to confirm I did it.   Obviously I’m extremely familiar with our technology, which has been designed to find the lowest priced options available, so that gave me a huge advantage.  However, the system has been created to enable regular users to become super-users in no time.  I would never recommend rushing through a real booking like this.  I’d always urge users to spend an extra minute or two checking the details they’ve entered are correct, this will prevent errors and saves more time in the long run.  During the challenge I touched on ‘extra travel services’ but only very briefly, I was conscious the clock was ticking, however now I have demonstrated how simple to use our system is, perhaps we could make another video at some stage showing the full extent of its capabilities, including how it can be used to book airport parking, lounge access, fast track security passes and more!  All of these things can be added to the initital booking and only add a minute or two to the process.  In the meantime I would be delighted to offer a free no obligation demonstration of our technology to anyone who may be considering self-book travel solutions.”

So it’s official, our simple to use technology really is simple to use!  Not to mention time efficient and reliable.
