Does your company have a detailed emergency plan in place?

Recent research has found that 37 per cent of travel buyers have faced higher levels of traveller safety enquiries since April. Lengthy queues likely at European airports

Passengers travelling back to the UK from some European airports may experience longer waiting times due to extra security checks at Passport Immigration for both arrivals and departures on passengers from countries outside the 26-nation Schengen border-free zone, which includes Britain. Huge queues have been reported at passport controls across Spain, Portugal, France, Italy and Holland. We advise departing customers to allow extra time as they may experience longer queues especially at this busy time of the year.

Lufthansa announces new European destinations

Lufthansa's European network will expand this winter with seven new destinations added to their timetable. From Frankfurt, Pamplona will operate four times a week from 6th November and Genoa, Bari and Catania will operate three times a week from 29th October. From Munich, there will be daily flights to Nantes while Glasgow will be served four times a week. Santiago de Compostela is on the flight schedule every Sunday as an addition to the services on offer from Frankfurt.
