Qatar Airways New Australian Destinations

Australia will figure prominently in Qatar Airways’ expansion plans with the launch of flights to Sydney from the 1st March 2016 and to Adelaide from the 2nd May 2015, providing more choice for holidaymakers and business travellers. Qatar Airways’ Australian capacity will rise to 28 flights a week, including to current destinations Melbourne and Perth. The airline also flies to 152 key business and leisure destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America and Australasia.

Flybe Winter Routes Begin

Flybe has commenced flights for the Winter programme from Southampton featuring 17 routes including a brand new daily service to Dusseldorf and in total offering a choice of up to 420 flights a week effective until 26th March 2016.

Europe’s largest regional airline, has also introduced a new route from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Edinburgh. The daily mid-morning service to the Scottish capital will be Flybe’s fourth route from Liverpool, complementing its other services to the Isle of Man, Belfast City and Amsterdam.

Vueling’s New Direct Flight from Manchester Airport

Vueling, the Spanish low-cost airline, has announced new direct services from Manchester Airport to Alicante and Rome from June 2016. Vueling will operate three flights a week to Alicante and two flights a week to Rome operated on a 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft. These additional services will provide Vueling passengers travelling from Manchester the opportunity to fly to more than 140 destinations across Europe connecting via the hubs in Barcelona and Rome Fiumicino.

New Routes Round-up

Low-cost airline Norwegian has launched a brand new route from Edinburgh to Tenerife as it continues to expand at the airport. Now operating two flights per week to the Spanish island of Tenerife with fares starting from £59.90 one way. Flights will depart on Thursdays and Saturdays operated by brand new Boeing 737 aircraft – which provide free Wi-Fi for all passengers.
