EasyJet Launch New Flights from Manchester

EasyJet has launched three new routes from Manchester Airport next summer to Paris, Milan Malpensa and Olbia in Sardinia. EasyJet’s expansion at Manchester Airport for summer 2016 will provide greater access to these hugely popular destinations with nine flights a week to Paris, up to seven flights a week to Milan Malpensa and twice a week to Olbia. The additional services will give EasyJet 43 destinations from Manchester, where it will have a total of 11 aircraft.

Airlines Cancel Sharm el-Sheikh flights

Thomson Airways, Thomas Cook, Monarch, easyJet and British Airways have all suspended flights to and from Sharm el-Sheikh after the government changed its travel advice to the Red Sea resort. The abrupt halting of flights, leaving an estimated 9,000 British tourists stranded in the Egyptian destination follows the disclosure that a bomb was the likely cause of a Russian Airbus crashing shortly after take-off from Sharm el-Sheikh airport on Saturday with the loss of 224 lives.
