Tried and Tested - Abu Dhabi

Last week members of the Traveleads team flew out to Abu Dhabi courtesy of Etihad Airways to learn more about the capital and second most populous city of the United Arab Emirates.
The destination takes its name from the ‘Dhabi’ an Arabian species of gazelle once common in the region. Abu Dhabi initially gained fame for its pearl fishing industry. Divers were forbidden from using air tanks or any mechanical devices and were not paid for their work, instead they received a portion of the profits each seasons trade delivered.

Shares in Low-cost Norwegian Airlines Soar Following Announcement

International Airlines Group (IAG) the owner of British Airways has today announced it is considering making an offer to buy low-cost airline Norwegian Air Shuttle
IAG confirmed it already has a 4.61% stake in the airline which it considers to be “A position from which to initiate discussions, including the possibility of a full offer for Norwegian” However IAG maintain “No such discussions have taken place to date” and “no decision has been taken to make an offer” which means there is no certainty any offer will be made.

People in West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester are set to benefit from improved connectivity, new journey opportunities and enhanced reliability as part of a transformational timetable change by TransPennine Express (TPE) making it even easier to travel to work, or plan a day out with friends or family.
