China Southern Airlines increase London to Guangzhou flights

Will Qantas operate the first ever non-stop flight from UK to Australia?

Qantas will publish its first scheduled Dreamliner routes by the end of the year, with a direct service between London and Perth a distinct possibility.

The Australian national carrier is set to receive its first Boeing 787 – also known as the Dreamliner – in 2017, and will announce new routes for the plane later this year.
If the London to Perth service is given the go-ahead, it would rival the current longest flight in the world! (Emirates Dubai to Auckland service) which clocks up 8,819 miles, taking 17 hours and 15 minutes.

Qatar Airways expand global network

Qatar Airways have announced their plans to expand their global network in parallel with their global fleet expansion. Qatar Airways have recently introduced the next-generation of aircraft as the global launch customer of the Airbus A350 and the Middle East launch customer of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The airline recently started services to Los Angeles, Ras Al Khaimah, Sydney and Boston, and upcoming routes will commence shortly to Birmingham on 30th March, Adelaide from 2nd May, Yerevan from 15th May and Atlanta from 1st June.

New Birmingham Flights with Qatar Airways and Exclusive Competition

Qatar Airways have announced the launch of eight direct flights from Birmingham to Doha and beyond commencing the 30th March 2016. Birmingham will be Qatar Airways fourth departure point in the UK after London Heathrow, Manchester and Edinburgh.
