Emirates more spacious Business Class

Emirates has unveiled a brand new Business Class cabin on its newly refurbished Emirates 777-200LR fleet, with new wider seats laid out in a 2-2-2 configuration for the first time. The 38 Business Class seat offers 72 inch seat pitch, moves into a fully flat sleeping position and is two inches wider for a more comfortable journey. It also has touchscreen controls, inflight entertainment system, several personal lighting options, privacy panels between seats, a shoe stowage area, footrest and a personal mini-bar.

Air France's new airline JOON takes to the skies

Air France has launched its new low-cost airline; JOON which is offering medium-haul flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, and then will offer long-haul flights from next summer 2018. JOON began operations with services to Barcelona, Berlin, Lisbon and Porto on 1st December 2017. It will add seven destinations from Paris Charles de Gaulle on 25th March 2018 to Rome, Naples, Oslo, Istanbul, Cairo, Cape Town and Tehran. Flights to Mahe in the Seychelles and Fortaleza, Brazil, will follow in summer 2018.

Upgrade to First with British Airways

British Airways travellers can enjoy a free, one-way upgrade to First when booking an eligible return flight in Club World. The upgrade is available on fully flexible and semi-flexible Business Class fares booked before 10th December 2017 on eligible routes to the US, Canada and Mexico. Singapore Airlines new Airbus A380 design

Singapore Airlines has unveiled its new A380 design which will feature on its fleet of 19 new Airbus A380’s and be retrofitted to the airline's 14 older superjumbos. Each new interior will feature 471 seats split into four cabins, including six of the First Class suites and 78 Business Class seats on the upper deck plus 44 Premium Economy and 343 Economy seats on the main deck.

Iberia announce new routes for 2018

Iberia has announced new routes and improvements to their network for 2018. As of May 2018, and until the end of September Iberia will operate three non-stop return flights per week between Madrid and San Francisco. From October 2018, Iberia will operate a three times per week service to Nicaragua’s capital Managua, non-stop to Madrid and with one stop in Guatemala City from Madrid.

Iberia will also increase their Tokyo route to five times a week from October 2018, this week marks the first anniversary of Iberia’s non-stop which was launched with three flights per week.

Emirates will introduce a second daily A380 service between Dubai and Birmingham on the 29th October 2017. The route increase is due to huge demand from customers and, has also led to an upgrade to the iconic and highly popular Emirates A380.
