Emirates welcome their 100th iconic A380 aircraft

Emirates, the world’s largest A380 operator is set to receive its milestone 100th A380 aircraft on 3rd November. Over 80 million passengers have flown on the superjumbo in the nine years since it first joined Emirates’ modern fleet.

Today, the Emirates A380 reaches all ends of the globe flying to 45 destinations worldwide including non-stop flights to Sao Paulo, Casablanca, Copenhagen, Tokyo and Los Angeles plus, the world’s longest A380 flight - a non-stop Dubai to Auckland service.

Complimentary Qantas Chauffeur Drive Service

The Qantas Chauffeur Drive service is available for all customers travelling in First and Business class on flights between Australia, London, Dubai, and on selected Australian domestic routes. The service is also available at great rates to other travellers to and from Australian airports.

Emirates boast the 'Best Inflight Entertainment' and 'Best First Class Amenities' in the World

Emirates has won World’s Best Inflight Entertainment award for a record 13th year at the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards 2017. The airline also picked up the award for Best First Class Comfort Amenities. The Skytrax World Airline Awards are considered a global benchmark of airline excellence. This year’s results were decided by 19.8 million customers across 105 countries. The survey reviewed over 320 airlines from August 2016 to May 2017.

Emirates enhanced A380 Onboard Lounge

Emirates will launch a series of new cabin products and enhancements in 2017 for both its A380 and Boeing 777 fleet including a multi-million dollar cabin interior upgrade programme. The new Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge is currently being installed onto one of Emirates’ brand new A380 aircraft at the Airbus’ facilities, and will make its operational debut in July 2017.

Emirates plan A380 exclusive Melbourne route

Emirates’ will provide an all-A380 service from 25th March next year when it upgrades its third daily flight from Dubai and Melbourne. The upgrade will add 945 seats a week to the route, representing a 10% increase in capacity and meaning Emirates passengers can enjoy even more seamless “A380 to A380” connections via its hub in Dubai to 18 points in the UK and Europe.

 In addition, together with partner airline Qantas’ new B787 London to Melbourne service via Perth, beginning on 24th March 2018, passengers now have even more options from the UK and Europe.
