British Airways new low-cost options to the US

British Airways have introduced new long haul Basic Economy fares on selected US routes. The new fares aim to offer customers more choice at a lower price with the ability to personalise their trip based on their travel needs.

In partnership with British Airways Atlantic Joint Business partners; Iberia, American Airlines and Finnair, the new low-cost fares will be available on selected non-north Atlantic routes and on routes from the UK to the Middle East and from the UK to Asia.

Iberia Premium Economy now available to new US destinations

Iberia are now offering Premium Economy on routes from Madrid to New York City JFK, Boston, Chicago, Miami, Mexico City, Bogota, Lima, Santiago de Chile, Quito, San Jose, Buenos Aires, Sao Paolo and Caracas. Iberia offer easy connections from the UK with year-round flights operated by Iberia Express from Birmingham and Manchester plus Iberia and British Airways fly together up to 15 times a day between London and Madrid.

LEVEL's new Paris Orly base for 2018

LEVEL, International Airlines Group’s (IAG) low cost long-haul airline brand, will open a new base in Paris where it will offer flights to Montreal, New York, Guadeloupe and Martinique from July 2018. LEVEL will also operate a new route from Barcelona to Boston, which, like the rest of flights from Barcelona, will be operated by Iberia.

Iberia announce new routes for 2018

Iberia has announced new routes and improvements to their network for 2018. As of May 2018, and until the end of September Iberia will operate three non-stop return flights per week between Madrid and San Francisco. From October 2018, Iberia will operate a three times per week service to Nicaragua’s capital Managua, non-stop to Madrid and with one stop in Guatemala City from Madrid.

Iberia will also increase their Tokyo route to five times a week from October 2018, this week marks the first anniversary of Iberia’s non-stop which was launched with three flights per week.

British Airways Double Avios Offer

That even includes flights with a BA flight number between Europe and North America with airline partners American Airlines, Finnair and Iberia.

IAG's low-cost transatlantic airline; LEVEL, have launched their first flights from Barcelona to Los Angeles, operating twice weekly and San Francisco (Oakland), operating three times per week. Additional flights to Punta Cana start on 10th June 2017 and operate twice per week, plus flights to Buenos Aires start on 17th June 2017 and operate three times per week.

More comfort, space and luggage with Iberia Premium Economy

Iberia has become the first airline to offer a Premium Economy seating class between Business and Economy on direct flights between Spain and Latin American destinations. Premium Economy will be rolled out across all 37 long-haul aircraft for completion in early 2018. Eight Airbus A330-300s will have 21 Premium Economy seats, and 13 Airbus A340-600s will have 23. The new Premium Economy seats are available for flights in May to and from Chicago and New York, in August to Miami and in September to Boston.

New low-cost long-haul airline: LEVEL

IAG has launched new brand; LEVEL, within the group that will operate a new generation of long-haul flights. Scheduled flights will connect Barcelona with San Francisco (Oakland), Los Angeles, Punta Cana and Buenos Aires. Tickets are available to purchase now and Iberia will be responsible for the initial operation of the flights.

LEVEL will start this operation with two brand new A330-200 aircraft which will show the new brand corporate image and will offer a two cabin configuration, with 293 seats in Economy and 21 seats in Premium Economy.

IBERIA Premium Economy is coming

Iberia is to Offer New Premium Economy Class on 37 of its Long-haul Aircraft. With an emphasis on comfort, wider seats, more leg-room,  more steeply reclining seat backs, and larger display screens. The new seating sections will be available gradually next summer and will be for sale at the beginning of 2017. Iberia will be the first airline to offer this cabin on direct flights between Spain and Latin America
