Emirates more spacious Business Class

Emirates has unveiled a brand new Business Class cabin on its newly refurbished Emirates 777-200LR fleet, with new wider seats laid out in a 2-2-2 configuration for the first time. The 38 Business Class seat offers 72 inch seat pitch, moves into a fully flat sleeping position and is two inches wider for a more comfortable journey. It also has touchscreen controls, inflight entertainment system, several personal lighting options, privacy panels between seats, a shoe stowage area, footrest and a personal mini-bar.

Emirates welcome their 100th iconic A380 aircraft

Emirates, the world’s largest A380 operator is set to receive its milestone 100th A380 aircraft on 3rd November. Over 80 million passengers have flown on the superjumbo in the nine years since it first joined Emirates’ modern fleet.

Today, the Emirates A380 reaches all ends of the globe flying to 45 destinations worldwide including non-stop flights to Sao Paulo, Casablanca, Copenhagen, Tokyo and Los Angeles plus, the world’s longest A380 flight - a non-stop Dubai to Auckland service.

Adverse winter weather expected to disrupt US travel.

Winter Storm Jonas is just only beginning to take shape over the central United States, the system is expected to turn into a major snowstorm by later Friday into Saturday across parts of the East Coast. Heavy snow is likely to fall across more than 14 states, with dangerous blizzard conditions developing over parts of the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. metropolitan areas. In addition to the snow, Winter Storm Jonas will also feature strong winds, significant levels of ice forming and coastal flooding. This may cause delays and disruptions to travel in all affected areas.
