Multimillion pound extension plans revealed for Leeds Bradford Airport

Yorkshire's biggest airport has revealed its redevelopment plans to build a multi-million pound, three-storey extension to its terminal building. The extension will accommodate brand-new, larger departure gates, seating areas and new retail and food & beverage outlets.

The new addition is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019, however the entire process, including enhancements and re-modelling, is not expected to be finished until summer 2020.

LNER Cancels rail services in Scotland, Leeds and London

LNER are sorry to announce that a small number of their services between London King’s Cross and Leeds, and the weekday direct service between Stirling and Edinburgh, will be cancelled from 13 August 2018 onwards. Network Rail Invest Millions in Leeds and Harrogate Stations

Work on the £20 million Leeds Railway Station southern entrance is due to be completed in November 2015. Network Rail and their contractors Carillion have undertaken the design and building works which comprises a concourse deck over the River Aire within an eye catching enclosed building. In addition to the structural changes there will be ticket vending machines at the entrance from which a full range of tickets can be purchased and collected, including the new WYCA smart cards.
