American Airlines new Premium Economy

You can now travel in Premium Economy on select international routes with American Airlines on their new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A350 fleet. American Airlines will continue to add Premium Economy to additional routes and their existing fleet of Boeing 777-300ERs, 777-200ERs, 787-8s and Airbus A330s over the next two years.

Iberia are now offering Premium Economy on routes from Madrid to New York City JFK, Boston, Chicago, Miami, Mexico City, Bogota, Lima, Santiago de Chile, Quito, San Jose, Buenos Aires, Sao Paolo and Caracas. New edition to SAS fleet

SAS are now flying their first new Airbus A320neo on routes within Europe. The A320neo is central to developing a more environmentally-friendly SAS fleet. Not only that, the new cabin offers more legroom and during 2017 it will also be fitted with Europes fastest onboard Wi-Fi.

SAS is working to upgrade its entire short and medium haul fleet of 100 planes, with 30 being replaced with the new A320neo's. The most efficient and environmentally-friendly aircraft burns 15-20% less fuel and will help SAS acheieve its sustainibility goals.

Delta doubles Scottish network with Glasgow to New York route

From 26th May 2017 Delta Air Lines will double their Scottish network with a new seasonal route between Glasgow and New York JFK. The flight is a new addition to the Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic partnership and adds to the existing Virgin Atlantic seasonal service from Glasgow to Orlando. The service will operate daily throughout the summer, and passengers travelling onwards from New York JFK can choose from over 60 daily onward connections throughout America.

The Qualtrics Passenger Survey – how happy are you when you fly?

‘What bothers you most about air travel?’ that was just one of the questions asked in a recent poll carried out by Qualtrics, when they surveyed 500 American Airlines passengers. The survey aims to identify the real issues and problems that frustrate passengers when they travel, and hopes to improve our future travel experiences.
