From April 2018 British Airways will increase its schedule from London Heathrow to Philadelphia International Airport from seven flights to 10 flights per week. British Airways minimal disruption as strike action continues

All British Airways customers will be able to fly to their destinations, despite 14 days of further proposed industrial action by Mixed Fleet Unite between Wednesday 2nd August and Tuesday 15th August. The union represents one of five British Airways cabin crew fleets so the the vast majority of services will be unaffected. All flights to and from London Gatwick, London City and Stansted will operate as normal as will the weekend only Mediterranean services to and from Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester.

Jet Airways additional India service

Jet Airways will be increasing its capacity from London Heathrow to Mumbai. With effect from 29th Ocotber 2017, Jet Airways will be offering four daily flights from London Heathrow to India, with three flights to Mumbai and one flight to Delhi. The daily flights to New Delhi and Mumbai will provide connections to Jet Airways full network of 48 destinations within India including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Goa, Kolkata and Amritsar in India, plus destinations in the Indian subcontinent and Asia such as Dhaka, Bangladesh; Kathmandu, Nepal; and Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Qatar Airways launch flights from Cardiff to Doha and beyond

Qatar Airways is to launch a daily flight from Cardiff Airport to its hub in Doha, Qatar, in 2018.  The new service will be the first regular direct long-haul flight linking Wales and South West England to a major global hub in the Gulf region. It will allow business and leisure travellers to fly directly from their local airport via Doha to a choice of over 150 destinations across the globe in Asia, Australasia, Africa and the Middle East.
