Emirates has introduced Home Check-in, a new service which allows customers to check in for their flights from anywhere in Dubai. The service is available for customers across all classes travelling on Emirates flights.

The new service enables Emirates passengers to complete the security check and check-in from the comfort of their home, hotel or office and have their luggage transported to the airport prior to their flight.

More comfort, space and luggage with Iberia Premium Economy

Iberia has become the first airline to offer a Premium Economy seating class between Business and Economy on direct flights between Spain and Latin American destinations. Premium Economy will be rolled out across all 37 long-haul aircraft for completion in early 2018. Eight Airbus A330-300s will have 21 Premium Economy seats, and 13 Airbus A340-600s will have 23. The new Premium Economy seats are available for flights in May to and from Chicago and New York, in August to Miami and in September to Boston.

London Heathrow Terminal 3 Baggage System Failure.

British Airways has apologised to its passengers following the LHR Terminal 3 baggage system failure.

As a result of a fault with Heathrow Airport’s baggage system in Terminal 3 yesterday, several of their flights departed with lower than expected levels of baggage.

The fault affected all airlines which use Terminal 3 for their flights.

Heathrow Airport has now restored the Terminal 3 system and customers flying today can check-in as normal, but we would advise all essential items, such as medication, are placed in your hand luggage.

Baggage with KLM Made Simpler

KLM are now offering the option to travel with hand baggage only or with a checked bag for a small fee for flights from the UK to Amsterdam and the rest of Europe. Checked baggage fees are £14 for one-way tickets and £28 for return tickets. Corporate customers, Bluebiz members and Flying Blue members are still entitled to free or discounted checked baggage.
