LaGuardia Airport (USA) Unveils New Pristine Concourse

JFK Airport is to Undergo $13bn Renovation

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has promised that a new $13billion project will make JFK - which currently ranks among the lower-rated airports in the U.S. - “one of the finest airports in the world.”

The newly unveiled plans include adding two new international terminals, which will increase the airports passenger capacity from 60 million in 2017 to 80 million by 2035.

Virgin Atlantic introduce new Airbus aircraft

Virgin Atlantic is introducing four new Airbus A330-200 aircraft to the fleet. 'Daydream Believer' has arrived at London Gatwick for finishing touches before it enters into service in March 2018. And, over the next few weeks 'Scarlett O’Hara' and 'Honky Tonk Woman' will also join the fleet with 'Strawberry Fields' joining in spring 2018. The 287 seater Airbus A330-200's are fully Wi-Fi enabled and will initially operate flights from Manchester to New York, Boston, San Francisco and Barbados.

SAS launches Go Light to the USA

From 14th December 2017 SAS travellers can choose SAS Go Light on all SAS flights from Scandinavia to the United States which offers a lower price when travelling with carry-on luggage only. SAS Go Light was successfully launched on European routes in 2015 and will now be rolled out to all SAS flights from Sweden, Denmark and Norway to New York, Chicago, Boston, Miami, Washington, Los Angeles and San Francisco. SAS Go, SAS Plus and SAS Business will still be offered on-board US flights.

LEVEL's new Paris Orly base for 2018

LEVEL, International Airlines Group’s (IAG) low cost long-haul airline brand, will open a new base in Paris where it will offer flights to Montreal, New York, Guadeloupe and Martinique from July 2018.
