SAS summer 2018 routes

SAS continues to expand its services to and from Scandinavia with the launch of 27 new non-stop routes to be served from several of its hubs. The seasonal summer 2018 schedule also includes five new destinations on SAS´s route map; Verona, Sarajevo, Genoa, Toulon and Beirut.

SAS is giving its customers more access to popular destinations with expanded summer services to Portugal, Spain, Croatia and Italy. SAS' seasonal summer 2018 routes will offer 114 destinations from Denmark, Norway and Sweden and 1.3 million additional seats for travellers.

Air France's new airline JOON takes to the skies

Air France has launched its new low-cost airline; JOON which is offering medium-haul flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, and then will offer long-haul flights from next summer 2018. JOON began operations with services to Barcelona, Berlin, Lisbon and Porto on 1st December 2017. It will add seven destinations from Paris Charles de Gaulle on 25th March 2018 to Rome, Naples, Oslo, Istanbul, Cairo, Cape Town and Tehran. Flights to Mahe in the Seychelles and Fortaleza, Brazil, will follow in summer 2018.

SAS launch Stockholm to Miami route

From 29th October, SAS Scandinavian Airlines will launch a new direct route between Stockholm and Miami, which will depart once a week on Sundays. The route will be served with an Airbus 330-300 redesigned with ultra-modern new cabins. SAS also operates services from Oslo and Copenhagen to Miami, plus services from Scandinavia to New York, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Boston.

Summertime has arrived with SAS

SAS Scandinavian Airlines have launched their summer timetable for 2017 with new and exciting destinations. SAS is launching a total of seven new year-round routes and ten summer peak-season routes from Scandinavia. SAS is also increasing the number of departures to many popular destinations over the summer, with a total of 390,000 additional seats to Spain, Portugal and Croatia.

Norwegian Air launch North American routes from Edinburgh

Norwegian Air have announced they will fly three new low-cost North American routes from Edinburgh Airport in June 2017. The flights will operate daily to Stewart, New York, four times weekly to Providence, Rhode Island and three times weekly to Hartford, Connecticut. The direct long-haul flights will serve smaller US airports to provide customers with truly afforable fares whilst also offering great access to Boston, New York and New England. Norwegian also currently flies from Edinburgh to six destinations: Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Barcelona, Tenerife and Malaga.
