Possible CrossCountry strike action - 20th, 21st and 28th January

The RMT union has called a strike for Saturday 20th, Sunday 21st and Sunday 28th January that will significantly affect CrossCountry train services. CrossCountry will be operating a reduced service but using some longer trains. Passengers are advised to travel only if necessary and as early as possible on the affected days as some services may finish earlier than normal. Some stations may have no CrossCountry services and bus replacement services are expected to be extremely busy.

Southern Railway affected in strike action throughout December and January

There will be no Southern service on Wednesday 14th and Friday 16th December and you should not attempt to travel. Disruption is also expected on Thursday 15th December because of the ongoing overtime ban and disruption caused by strikes on the surrounding days.

Unfortunately, passengers are advised to expect a severely reduced and disrupted service on every day while this industrial action is in place. ASLEF and RMT strikes will affect Southern and Gatwick Express services on the following dates:

September Tube Strikes Cancelled

The Tube strikes planned for the 8th and 10th September have been suspended. The walk-outs have been called off after London Underground announced a delay to the start of Night Tube. The network's all-night service was due to start on the 12th September but has been pushed back whilst negotiations with the RMT, Unite and the TSSA union continues. The union's remain in dispute over pay and working conditions and if further negotiations prove negative then more industrial action may occur.

August Tube Strikes Cancelled but More Predicted for September

The Tube strike action that was planned to take place this week until Friday 28th August has now been suspended. Normal Tube services will operate.

Unite was the first union to suspend the strike, followed by the RMT and then the TSSA. The good news was followed by the announcement of two new proposed strike dates on 8th and 10th September- just two days before the Night Tube, the cuase of the strikes, is due to start running.
