Virgin's twice daily London to Johannesburg service

Virgin Atlantic has announced a second daily service between London Heathrow and Johannesburg OR TAMBO Airport. The new service will begin flying in winter 2018 with the first flight departing on 28th October 2018. The new flights are now on sale and will be operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. With two flights per day to South Africa’s biggest city, Virgin will carry over 300,000 customers annually – helping to support tourism and trade between the two nations.

Say a big hello to more of the US from Manchester with Virgin Atlantic

This spring Virgin Atlantic, in partnership with Delta Air Lines, is delighted to announce the expansion of US flights from Manchester. The USA will now be more accessible than ever before, thanks to three brand new direct routes to New York, San Francisco and Boston.

Commencing in summer 2017, Virgin Atlantic will be the first ever carrier to provide direct services between Manchester and the northern Californian city. Operating three times weekly, the flights will connect the region with world famous landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and Fisherman’s Wharf.
